detect_warm_intros

A warm intro is a relationship path into a person, relative to your own company (the “origin”, resolved from your tenant settings). detect_warm_intros scores those paths and tells you who is reachable without cold outreach.

Tiers

Tier	Meaning
PLATINUM	Previously worked at your company (alumni).
GOLD	Strong shared-colleague network path.
SILVER	Moderate path.
COLD	No path found.

The network path means a current employee of yours and the target worked at the same company at the same time. It’s scored on overlap length, recency, shared-company size, same country and function, and seniority.

Modes

Supply exactly one:

• Company mode — target_company_linkedin_url: scan a company’s employees and return those with a warm path, strongest first.
• People mode — person_linkedin_urls: return a verdict for every person supplied (up to 100).

Leaving limit unset in company mode returns needs_confirmation with matched_rows and no data — tell the user how many warm paths exist, ask how many they want, then resubmit.

Returns

JSON with mode, origin_company_url, a summary tier histogram, a dataset handle, and preview_rows carrying warm_intro_tier, the supporting evidence, and a one-line warm_intro_reason per person.

Notes & limits

• Rows returned consume tenant credits; the sizing count is free.
• limit is ignored in people mode.
